Other Places to Stay

Hotels, etc...
While our intent is for guests to stay at the eStudio, it's basically an efficiency apartment and really only works for two people. So, here are a few thoughts/options on other lodging in Santa Fe. Understand, Santa Fe is one of the top tourist/vacation spots in the country and there just too many options to list them all. So, here are our thoughts on "directional" ideas.
  • La Fonda - The archetype Santa Fe hotel Honestly, it's where I'd stay if I wanted to be on the Plaza.

  •
On or near the Plaza - Particularly for a first-time visitor, being on the Plaza is probably the best option that will let you truly immerse in Santa Fe. 80% (estimate) of the top "touristy-type" spots in town are within walking distance of the Plaza. And if the term "touristy-type" bothers you, it shouldn't in Santa Fe. For anything less than a week, you basically can't run out of things to do and places to eat if you are near the Plaza.
  • Others that are always mentioned:
  • El Dorado
  • Hotel St Francis
  • Pinon Court by La Fonda
  • Inn of the Five Graces
  • Inn and Spa at Loreto
  • Hotel Chimayo
  • Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi
  • Inn on Alameda (Joe's Tequila Bar)
  •
Air B&B Options - too many to recommendWhile there are too many really good hotel options to consider, ranging from budget options to "hoity-toity-spa-level", if you are in town for several days an air B&B or similar is a good and probably more-affordable option. A general direction is to look very near, or North and East of the Plaza. If you are looking at AB&B options, we are happy to make a drive-by and check out the area, feel, etc...
